This winter semester, the Department of English Literature brings you a Master Class with Prof. Dr. Jan Alber, a specialist in narratology from RWTH Aachen. This coming December he will offer the class:
„The Development of Narrative Theory:
From Structuralist Narratology to Postclassical Narratologies“
Prof. Dr. Alber will trace the development of narratology from its structuralist beginnings to postclassical approaches, with a focus on cognitive narratology, unnatural narratives as well as film narratology.
The Master Class will be held online, via Zoom,
on Dec 17, 14:00-19:00 and Dec 18, 10:00-16:00 CET.
